About Jordan

I fell in love with art at a young age and both my parents were trained as artists. I've had experience in painting, drawing, sculpture, fibers, printmaking and more. I experimented with photography in high school and college and felt most comfortable using a camera. In my spare time I use a camera as a tool in sharing my own narrative growing up surrounded by illness. More recently I’ve been drawn to using photography as a means to shape conceptions of reality.

My home state is New Jersey and I came to Chicago in 2008 to attend the School of the Art Institute so I'm familiar with New York, New Jersey and Chicago.

Photographing weddings allows me a unique privilege into acessing the lives of my clients and I value the friendships I gain and the diversity of people I meet along the way. The bonds I create with my couples pushes me to strive for excellence when shooting a wedding and to give them the best possible experience and product. I am happiest when my couples are happy and when I've captured the perfect moments from their day. I feel successful when I get to know each person I work with as an individual and as a couple and know that I’ve told their story the way it deserves to be told. Hiring me as your photographer is truly an honor and a privilege, and I look forward to hopefully being at yours!
